Hi, I’m Jen — mum to Fin & Moo, card maker, and the crafty person behind the small business!
I create unique, handmade cards from my craft room at home here in sunny Stockport. What started as a little hobby has grown into my very own small business.
I first discovered my love of crafting before my children were born, but as life got busier, my craft supplies were packed away in the loft and forgotten about for a while.
Then, at the beginning of 2020, just before the Covid lockdown, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and getting my craft supplies back out gave me something positive to focus on during treatment and all those long days of isolation. Little by little, over the last few years, my hobby (and rather large crafty obsession) has grown, and now turned onto Fin & Moo!
These days, making cards is my happy place. I love getting creative and turning an idea into something someone can give to a special person. Even better, I love hearing how much my cards mean to the people who receive them.
I think handmade cards are extra special as they can become little keepsakes to treasure. Many of my cards can be personalised with names, ages, relationships and other little details to make them truly unique. And if you’re looking for something a bit different, just drop me a message! I’ve probably got something tucked away in my stash that could be just what you’re looking for — and if not, I’m always up for a little creative challenge!
