A rainbow haired Northern Lady would teaches mathematics by day and creates art at night!
Hello wonderful people! Duffy's Colour Palette is my platform to introduce myself to the artist world. I have been creating art for so long and now feel it is definitely time to share it. I am a teacher of maths for my main job but art has always been a huge source of joy and relaxation. I gravitate towards colour for its uplifting nature and have noticed that everything I've created is centred in it - Hence colour palette for my shops name!
I am doing this business completely solo since I have always felt art to be personal and my way to give something back, but I do have support from my wonderful partner. When I was 5 years old I was given a little Wilkinson's brand tool box by my parents and inside was a watercolour palette, brushes, sponges, and pencils, it was so special to me and I still have it to this day!
Since then I experimented - yes there have been some crazy concoctions, my rainbow hair is definitely part of that, but through this I have come up with some really meaningful pieces that have touched my heart. One of the earliest is the little rainbow bumble bee art print created when I was fresh faced out of university and rediscovering art after burying my head in maths for 4 years. When I'm stressed, sad, happy, angry, upset - art is there (maybe cake... but mostly art).

Each and every one of them will be unique to me and hand crafted without the use of AI. The rainbow mini pencil clay pot I used for brushes is another piece I made from scratch, the mini colour pencils I got in my 5 year old tool box - They where so precious to me I could not bare to use them - they will now be with me forever!
