The Little Blue Quilt Shed£20.00
I love spending my time sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting. Diagnosed with ADHD, I always need something to do with my hands and love to make things. I also love a bargain (don't we all?) and spend many hours hunting for new fabrics and notions in Destash sales and on marketplace.
With my ever growing collection of rescued textiles, buttons and yarn threatening to take over our little house , my long suffering partner, Mark, suggested I needed a space of my own. After spending several summer months installing new windows, flooring and instulation into our existing garden shed, along with a coat of blue paint and a shiny red door and I moved into my new 'She' shed !
Follwowing redundancy and finding out that i was about to become a grandma, I decided that rather than trying to find a new job at 60 I would start my own part-time business doing what I love and 'The Little Blue Quilt Shed' was born!
I now spend my days happily sewing and quilting in my garden being kept company by Apollo our cat and being brought plentiful cups of coffee by Mark.
