Hi, I’m King Nombo, creator behind Pixel King.

I make handmade pixel art shadow boxes inspired by the games I grew up with. The kind of moments that stick with you long after you’ve put the controller down.

Each piece is built up layer by layer to create a real-world, diorama-style scene. I design everything from scratch, carefully separating each element so it can be stacked and brought forward, giving that depth you don’t get from a flat image.

I’ve always loved how simple pixel art can hold so much character, and this is my way of turning that into something you can actually hang on your wall.

Every shadow box is cut, assembled and finished by hand, and I’m always experimenting with new scenes, games and ideas to bring to life.
