I've always loved creating things & have turned my hand to many crafts over the years, from cross stitch & crochet, to beading & wire work. Discovering wire weaving was a revelation - it combines the 'heavy' side of metal work (playing with hammers & pliers) with the relaxing repetition of weaving, almost like sewing with metal. Wire is so versatile & I'm always amazed at the beautiful designs that can be created from such a simple material.
All my jewellery is created at my home in Manchester, with a rock soundtrack, my partner Andrew, & our cat Ruki for company. Along with the much missed Ori, our little fluff monsters were the inspiration for my company name. When I'm not busy creating intricate jewellery, you can usually find me pottering in the garden or out hiking in the gorgeous Peak District (when I’m not at the day job anyway!)
Some notes about ordering from me...
* Everything in my shop has been designed & created by me. All of my items are ready to be shipped - I usually try & do this within a day but always within three days at the most. I will email you upon receiving your order to confirm when your order will be posted.
* At present I don’t add shipping options for outside of the UK as standard. If you are outside of the UK please contact me with the details of what you’d like to order & I will check the current prices & delivery options - I can then set up a custom order for you.
* I’m very happy to ship a gift directly to your recipient with a little note - please just leave me a message at checkout with the details of what you’d like me to write.
* All of my packaging is either made of fully recycled materials or re-used from my own deliveries. I use plain Kraft gift boxes which contain an anti tarnish wadding insert - perfect for gifting or for storing your jewellery!
* Many of my designs can be remade with different colours or stones & in different sizes. I’m very happy to discuss any ideas with no obligation at all - please just drop me a message. You can use the ‘contact’ button above or message via social media - just mention that you found me on Folksy.
