Love making mosaics to be enjoyed

Always loved art and creating things from an early age. Best thing about school was the art classes, could never pay attention long enough to learn anything else! Until 6 years ago discovered I have dyslexia, which seems a common story these days. I was pretty good at developing my own way of doing things which got me through working life in the office. Funny when I cut tiles, I have to use templates, otherwise I cut pieces completely wrong. Amazing how the brain says one thing and the eyes see another. Don't ever ask me to give you directions, would send you the wrong way.....

Retired to Anglesey 4 years ago 5 minutes from the sea. Met a lovely bunch of mermaids, we meet up for a swim all through the year. Have a natter, support each other and swim a lot, oh and sometimes eat cake. The nature is amazing on the island, gives me loads of ideas, plus there are always bits of slate laying around on the beach smoothed by the sea.

Enjoy going away in my campervan, cycling, walking, birdwatching, kayaking, walking my dog, reading and of cause making mosaics.

Love to see people smiling and taking an interest in my mosaics. Also feels nice to know that people look at my mosaics every day in their homes.

Lastly, I recycle where possible, which includes packaging.
