Hi, I’m Kim, the maker behind Kimberley-Jane Handmade.

My creative journey began during a difficult time with my mental health. Sewing and crochet gave me something positive to focus on, a little pocket of calm when everything else felt overwhelming. Making things with my hands helped quiet my mind, gave my days a sense of purpose and gradually helped me find myself again.

What began as a way of coping soon grew into a genuine passion and, eventually, my own small business. I’m inspired by beautiful fabrics, interesting textures, cheerful colours and the simple pleasure of turning fabric and yarn into something useful, comforting or completely unique.

From sewn accessories and dog bandanas to crocheted babywear and blankets, every item is individually made by me in North Wales. I love experimenting with different ideas rather than producing hundreds of identical pieces, so my shop is always growing and changing.

Kimberley-Jane Handmade is more than a business to me, it grew from something that helped me through a difficult chapter and became something I’m genuinely proud of. Every purchase supports my small business and allows me to keep doing something I truly love.
