Celebrating wildlife and wild places through textile art

I am passionate about the natural world - our landscape and everything which creeps, flies and hops around it with us. Nature and its beauty is what gets me up in the morning - I even bought my house because it has House Martins!

My wildlife pictures usually reflect my own experiences: many of my pieces are simply birds doing their thing in my garden or at local favourite haunts in the fields and reserves of Lincolnshire. A few times a year I will travel further afield in the UK and will return full of inspiration from the Outer Hebrides, Yorkshire Coast or wherever. There is so much to see out there!

Seas and swimmers are more about the constantly changing moods and colours on any beach and the fun which is to be had - so the dogs and swimmers are all about sharing that joy.

I am mostly self taught and work at home with selling both online and at face to face events in the East Midlands. Every nook and cranny in my house is crammed with wools and mixed recovered fabrics and fibres and part of the challenge is always tracking down what I need when i need it.
