Countryside art filled with sunshine and happiness!

Hello, I'm Helen Fairweather, a mixed media artist creating original countryside art in my own unique style that is filled with sunshine and happiness. Through my art it is my mission to help make people happy!

My studio is based in the beautiful and tranquil English county of Buckinghamshire. Living in such a picturesque part of the world, my artistic inspiration comes from the breathtaking British countryside and coast about which I am passionate.
At every opportunity, I love to go exploring with my family (as well as my trusty camera and sketchbook), in search of new subjects, ideas and inspirations for my art.

I use watercolours and gouache to create my colourful paintings, and then often explore my ideas further by hand sewing little trees to my art using pretty textiles to create an appliqué effect. I also use embroidery, wire and beading to create flowers and plants. I love how these embellishments help to bring my work to life!
