This beautiful picture features a solitary tree beside the river and is perfect for those small spaces on the walls or mantlepiece. The picture has been created using a needle felting process which requires no stitching of the fabric, instead the components are bound together using barbed felting needles. The background of the picture is formed from textile strips which have been needle felted onto a felt base. The strips of fabric have then been blended together using woollen fibres. Once the background is complete a solitary tree has been needle felted in place. The picture which measures approximately 2"x2" has then been mounted in a white card mount and framed in a 4"x4" simple black frame. The frame has a prop stand and hanging hook on the reverse.
