About this item
This oil painting has gentle colours and depicts a distant view of lake and hills . It was created with the use of a palette knife and oil paints. Cold wax was added to the oil paints to create a lovely creamy feel, which has produced alot of textures. It is painted on a wooden board and has been placed in a floating frame. The frame is excellent quality in off white coloured obeche wood. 30cms deep. From Jacksons Art Supplies in London. The overall size is approximately 25 x 30 cms. The inspiration - you go for a lovely walk, and suddenly around the corner, there is this amazing view. It makes you stop and gives you a feeling of joy.
