Full description
Here's an oil painting inspired by the beautiful Lake District in England.
With a summery feel with fluffy clouds and pink and blue flowers in the fields. With a backdrop of distant mountains.
Painted onto a cradled wooden board, 26 x 26cms (10 x 10 ins)
The oils are mixed with cold wax to create texture and a matte finish. I have used a palette knife. The edges are not painted and left as wood.
