Full description
A beautiful quilted stocking in traditional Christmas red and green with a hand embroidered cuff. A matching green hanging loop is finished off with a wooden button. A trio of silver bells hangs from the cuff, giving a merry tinkle when moved.
I made my first quilted Christmas stocking for my daughter when she was a baby and it's still going strong - this will be the 28th year it will be filled with gifts.
The stocking has been made from a red cotton fabric with a cheerful robin design. It is backed with an emerald green polycotton with the quilting stitched in a matching thread.
Stocking opening approximately 22cm/8.5 inches. Length (top of cuff to heel) approximately 47cm/18.5 inches. Foot length (heel to toe) approximately 38cm/15 inches.
Each stocking is handmade and unique, so may vary slightly from the one in the photos.
It is not advisable to hang the stocking when filled with heavy items.
Do not leave young children unattended with this item as the small bells could be a choking hazard.
Delicate sponge clean if necessary.
