Sterling Silver Amethyst Drop Earrings

These lovely sterling silver Amethyst bead earrings have been made using the method of reticulation to create a delicate texture to the silver. Reticulation is the heating up and cooling down of the silver several times to create texture and patterns which are unique to the process meaning no two textures will be the same. The silver has then been shaped and a sterling silver wire added to hold the faceted Amethyst bead. The earrings have then been suspended on Sterling Silver Ear wires which have been handmade. They are perfect for daytime or evening wear. They would make a perfect gift for a loved one or even for yourself. Amethyst is the birthstone for those born under the star sign Aquarius and would make a perfect gift for that Aquarian in your life! Dimensions: Drop Length: From the top of the ear wire to the base of the earring: 35mm Width at the widest part: 6.5mm Diameter of the faceted Amethyst: 6mm Recycled Silver: As with all my designs, these earrings have been made from 100% recycled silver. Hallmarking: As these earrings weigh under the weight of 7.78g, they have not been hallmarked. Packaging: The earrings will arrive in a slim jewellery box made from recycled card and will rest on an anti tarnish foam insert. Care of your jewellery: All sterling silver will tarnish with wear and over time. Polishing with a silver cloth will help restore the shine to your jewellery and I have included a small silver cloth to help you get started.
