Sterling Silver and Lapis Lazuli Bead Drop Earrings

These lovely Sterling Silver and Lapis Lazuli earrings are designed to catch the light and draw compliments! The Silver rectangle has been delicately textured using reticulation which involves heating up the silver and cooling it down (just before it melts down!) several times. This creates unique textures so no two designs are ever the same. I have shaped the silver and soldered on a silver wire to hold and wrap the Lapis Lazuli gemstone bead. The wire hooks are also sterling silver and have been handmade by me. Perfect for daytime and evening wear, a perfect gift for a friend or loved one, or for yourself! Dimensions: Drop Length: From the top of the wire hook to the base of the earring: 35mm Width at widest point: 6.5mm Size of the Lapis Lazuli Bead: 6mm in diameter. Recycled Silver: As with all my designs these earrings have been made with 100% recycled sterling silver. Hallmarking: To comply with the UK Hallmarking Act 1973, all items made from Sterling Silver require a hallmark if they weigh 7.78g or over. As these earrings are under the required weight of 7.78g they are not hallmarked. Packaging: These earrings will arrive in a jewellery box made from recycled card with a foam insert for them to rest on. Care of your jewellery: All sterling silver will tarnish over time and with exposure to the air and pollutants. I have included a small silver cloth to help you maintain the shine of your earrings.
