Full description
A unique piece of handmade yarn art, created using a wrapping and weaving technique to form a contemporary geometric design.
Rich teal blue contrasts with variegated charcoal grey yarn, with the different directions of the wrapped and woven strands creating an abstract pattern. The technique gives the artwork texture and depth, with subtle variations in the yarn becoming more noticeable as you look more closely.
The artwork has a 10x10 cm aperture and is mounted in a modern white frame, giving it a clean, contemporary finish that allows the colour and texture of the yarn to take centre stage.
The frame has both wall fixings and a kick stand, so it can be hung or displayed freestanding in either portrait or landscape orientation. As an abstract design, there is no prescribed right way up - simply display it whichever way appeals to you.
