Full description
Prosperity
An original hand-drawn artwork celebrating prosperity, abundance and flourishing.
At the centre is the Marathi word samruddhi, meaning prosperity. The bold Devanagari lettering is surrounded by delicate pencil botanicals, including pomegranates - a traditional symbol of abundance, fertility and good fortune - and trailing floral garlands.
The contrast between the strong black lettering and soft graphite drawing gives the piece a contemporary feel while retaining the warmth and symbolism behind the word.
Each Paisley Peacock Studios piece is drawn by hand, so small variations and imperfections are part of the character of the original artwork.
A lovely choice for a new home, wedding, anniversary or good-luck gift, or simply for anyone wanting a little more abundance in their life.
Original artwork - not a print.
Hand drawn in pencil and black ink on heavyweight white card.
Signed by the artist.
Part of my collection exploring beautiful Marathi words through botanical illustration and Devanagari script.
