Full description
Scout Fleur de Lis suncatcher made by Carole's Glass.
My husband has been involved in scouts most of his life - and this Scouts Fleur de Lis has been made numerous times for scouting colleagues.
I have it on good authority that the scout badge shows the Fleur de Lis as being white on a purple background. This version made from stained glass has white wispy glass for the Fleur and purple corella glass for the surround. I hope all you scouters out there feel this is a good representation for your emblem? I realise there should be a star on each side but other than sticking a star onto the glass could not see any other way to incorporate them which I felt would detract
This measures 15.5cms in diameter. Please note as this is cut by hand it may not be a perfect circle. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground and foiled then soldered together. A ring, hook and length of fishing line has been attached for hanging purposes.
I will supplied a window hook so you can hang your sun catcher as soon as you receive it.
I normally post the glowing working day and this will be sent using Riyal Mail Tracked 24.
Please note as this is made from glass if dropped in may break resulting in sharp edges so care should be taken.
This is not a toy so keep out of reach of children.
