Pine, Bay Tree & Linden Wood Scarab Beetle Necklace
A unique handmade necklace featuring natural Pine and Bay tree beads, with a central Linden wood carving of a Scarab beetle.
The Scarab beetle has long been associated with good fortune, hope, restoration of life and regeneration, giving this necklace a little extra meaning as well as its natural character.
Each wooden bead has been shaped and finished by hand, allowing the individual grain and character of the wood to show through. The central Scarab carving adds a distinctive focal point to the necklace.
The beads are threaded onto a gold-coloured chain, creating a simple combination of natural wood and warm metallic colour.
A one-of-a-kind piece, handmade in my workshop in Batford, Hertfordshire.
