Make a monster with your little monster! Our clay modelling kit for kids is a brilliant hands-on activity for families, rainy days and school holidays. Working with clay helps little ones build new modelling skills while they get creative. Designed in our Wakefield pottery studio by two qualified teachers. Our online video tutorials walk you through making a range of projects together. What's included: - 1 bag of quality air-dry clay (approx. 600g) - Clay tools - Paint brush Add a paint pack to finish your monster (6 x 12ml paints, a paint brush and a palette): - Swamp monster: light green, dark green, sap green, yellow ochre, orange, black - Primary: blue, red, yellow, white, orange, black - Pastel: green, blue, yellow, rose, orange, white About the clay: after trying and testing lots of types, we chose this clay because it's softer than many leading brands, which makes it perfect for smaller hands. It contains a small amount of nylon fibres to give it strength when air dried. Air-dry clay needs 24-72 hours to dry before painting. To join pieces together, just use a little water. Adult supervision recommended. Every kit is packed by hand in our studio, ready to give as a gift. Your kit may arrive in a different box from the one pictured.
