Rich red, orange and golden tones make this fused glass pendant necklace a striking choice for anyone who loves warm colours and distinctive handmade jewellery.
The focal cabochon has been handmade from fused glass, with layers of red and orange creating a beautifully warm, almost autumnal effect. I have framed the glass by hand using silver-plated wire, building up an intricate woven surround and finishing the front with decorative wire spirals.
The contrast between the vivid glass and detailed silver wirework gives the pendant plenty of impact while still allowing the fused glass itself to remain the main feature.
