Hand embroidered floral textile wall art, slow stitched wall decor unframed

This unframed textile art piece is part of my "Nature" series. This piece is a blend of vintage linen scraps sourced from a local vintage fair close to me in Devon and some really interesting repurposed lace and dyed cheesecloth. I designed the embroidery after I was inspired by wildflowers and the countryside. I leave selected fabric edges beautifully frayed to create texture and a soft, organic feel. Every flower and leaf has been carefully hand embroidered using a variety of traditional embroidery stitches. The finished artwork has been stitched onto handmade paper and presented behind an elegant off-white mount board, ready for you to frame in a style that complements your home. Size Mount board: 8" x 8" Artwork: Approximately 4.5" x 4.25" The mounted artwork is sturdy enough to display on a mantelpiece as it is or placed on a small easel, or frame for hanging on the wall. Sustainability is at the heart of my work. By using carefully selected vintage and reclaimed textiles, each piece gives beautiful fabrics a new life while helping to reduce waste. Your artwork will be carefully packaged in a protective self-seal sleeve and posted in a sturdy package to be sent by Royal Mail.
