HANDSPUN KNITTED KERCHIEF COWL Measurements - The cowl measures 16" (40cm) from top centre to the bottom centre. I handspun some soft merino wool into a medium weight yarn, then I knitted this neckwarmer, bandana or 'kerchief cowl' to my own design, with sections of lattice and eyelet stitch which form interesting folds. The colour is a mid pink, but viewed closely there are flecks of different shades of pink. I call this a 'kerchief cowl' as it has the look of a kerchief or neckerchief, but it is joined at the back so there are no fussy ends to tie or cross over. This results in it staying in place much better. This cowl has a chic, elegant look, whether just worn over a top, or under a jacket or coat to fill in the 'V' and keep out those chilly draughts. Great for bikers, riders, hikers etc. I often wear these around the house when I feel cold, yet it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a scarf. Please be aware that screens can show colours differently. As this item was completely made by hand from start to finish to my own design, it is truly unique. I can make these in other colours. Please feel free to contact me to discuss a custom order.
