It makes sense to me to create cute and quirky coastal scenes using pieces of pottery and sea glass that I find on the beach. Maybe this is because I live in the Midlands and I yearn for the seaside? I am inspired by the colours of the sea glass when I paint my pieces and I love being able to recreate this in the unique pieces I craft.

Bring a little piece of the coast into your home with this beautifully handmade pebble penguin Driftwood Wall Art - a completely unique artwork inspired by colourful coastlines, beachcombing adventures and the most characterful seabirds.
At the heart of the design is a pair of penguins created from carefully selected pebbles, individually hand painted to bring their characters to life. Perched proudly on a beachcombed shell, the penguins sit against a bright coastal landscape of blue sky, green sea and icy rocks, all hand painted in acrylics.
The artwork is framed entirely with natural driftwood, carefully chosen for its wonderfully weathered shapes and textures. Tiny beachcombed shells decorate the corners, while pieces of sea glass have been used to represent the icy shore.
Every element has been thoughtfully selected and arranged by hand, creating a wonderfully textured 3D piece of original coastal art. I never alter the natural shapes of my beach finds, allowing the materials themselves to help shape the finished design.
This is a completely one-of-a-kind artwork, and the piece shown in the photographs is the exact one you will receive - no prints, reproductions or duplicates.
