Full description
This item is part of my "Artisan brooches" collection designed to bring a unique boho feel to your wardrobe.
Each piece in this collection features hand stitched collages of reclaimed, vintage and repurposed fabrics and trimmings or felt. To see the matching items in this range, click on the "Artisan Brooches" tab on my main shop front.
To make this, I carefully hand-cut pieces of felt to create a unique design, then embellished the brooch with beads to add texture and subtle sparkle. It measures approx 2.5" tall and approx 2.5" at the widest.
Every bead and embellishment has been sewn by hand-no glue has been used in its construction.
For added durability, the brooch is reinforced with a layer of heavy interfacing, and a quality metal brooch clasp has been securely stitched to the reverse.
I love wearing these brooches to fasten a scarf or add a unique touch to a cardigan, jumper, jacket or bag, but there are so many creative ways to wear and enjoy them.
