You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
These unique wallets are made from punctured bicycle inner tubes. The two card slots hole more than one each, and the topmost pocket has room for notes (and even more cards if you need it). It has a flap that closes with a snap to help keep everything secure. It's sewn with contrasting red stitching.
Inner tubes are made from soft butyl rubber which is grippy to help keep hold of your wallet's contents and stay in your pocket. It won't be damaged by water and the resilient material isn't damaged by being scrunched up.
The tubes are sourced from local bike shops. They'd normally end up in landfill as most people wouldn't pay a mechanic's time to do a puncture repair - instead a new one's fitted and the old one discarded.
These have been saved from that fate, helping the bike shops reduce their waste and keeping useful materials out of landfill.
Each one is unique, handmade by me from punctured bicycle inner tubes and (gold or silver coloured) washable snaps, stitched with contrast red thread. They have been stamped with my business name. You'll receive a lucky dip wallet that may feature characteristics from its previous life in a bicycle tyre like wear, marks, writing, etc.
They'll be sent with one of my business cards and a slip with information about my business and looking after your wallet. I ship everything in plastic-free packaging.
Each item is handmade from reclaimed materials so sizes vary slightly, see photos for some measurements.
While all inner tubes are washed thoroughly before being remade into new products, they may still mark light surfaces.
NB: Please ignore any white dots in the photos - these are used for stocktaking purposes and will not be included on the item you receive.
