Ring Holder made from Bicycle Inner Tube with Valve - Schrader

These unique ring holders are made from the valve section of a punctured bicycle inner tube. These feature a schrader valve. The valve is perfect for stacking rings. Inner tubes are made from soft butyl rubber so won't scratch surfaces, won't be damaged by water, and the resilient material isn't damaged by being scrunched up. These are one of the last things I bung in my wash bag before we go on holiday. They're great for keeping track of my rings in an unfamiliar location, or around the house by the sink when I'm out gardening. The tubes are sourced from local bike shops. They'd normally end up in landfill as most people wouldn't pay a mechanic's time to do a puncture repair - instead a new one's fitted and the old one discarded. These have been saved from that fate, helping the bike shops reduce their waste and keeping useful materials out of landfill. Each one is unique, handmade by me from punctured bicycle inner tubes and (gold or antique bronze coloured) brass rivets. They have been stamped with my business name on the bottom. You'll receive a random tray which may have writing, wear, stripes, white marks, or other characteristics from its previous life inside a bicycle tyre. They'll be sent flat to save you money on postage. Each item is handmade from reclaimed materials so sizes vary slightly, see photos for some measurements. While all inner tubes are washed thoroughly before being remade into new products, they may still mark light surfaces. While the rivets are brass, I recommend you wipe the valets clean and don't let them sit in water as they can patina with age. NB: Please ignore any white dots in the photos - these are used for stocktaking purposes and will not be included on the item you receive.
