Melting Snowman Christmas Decoration; Fused Glass Snowman Wave

This fun fused glass Christmas decoration is a free-standing picture of a snowman melting in the sun. It has a streaky blue, clear and white transparent glass background giving a brilliant image of a clear, sunny winter's day. The glass shines with natural light passing through and placing fairy lights or tealights behind it adds another dimension to the image. I've created the snowman images by hand cutting glass tiles and laid them on the background before fusing the picture in my kiln for approximately eight and a half hours. It's been fused a second time to mould it into a wave shape enabling it to stand on it's own. I've only made one of these so it's a truly unique gift or addition to your own Christmas decorations. The tile measures approx. 22.5cm wide, 11cm tall and 3.5cm deep.
