Full description
A tea pot cosy hand knitted in a tweed stitch with whirly - twirly knitted ribbons on top. Starting at the hem I have knitted the rib in a nordic blue coloured yarn. Then using three different coloured yarns; nordic blue, duck egg blue and silver, I have knitted a wonderful tweed stitch tea cosie body. Nestled on the top, giving extra insulation at the top of the pot where most heat escapes from there are four whirly - twirly knitted ribbons, the bottom set of five ribbons are knitted in nordic blue, the middle set of five ribbons are knitted in silver with a silver lurex sparkly yarn and the top set of five ribbons are knitted in duck egg blue, all match the colours in the main body. This stitch ensures a good fit around the pot, yet has enough ease for a swift removal when a 'top - up' is required. The tea pot handle peeps through the side opening so it dosnt get too hot to handle.
