Upon retiring from a long and happy career as a physiotherapist, I embarked upon an applied arts degree. This led me to ceramics, where I have discovered a passion for combining glazed earthenware, lightbox drawings and gold leaf to create completely unique decorative pieces.
Each and every piece I make is one of a kind.
Many of my collections take inspiration from the nature and this is a piece from my Seaside Series.

This unique, decorative cup is part of The Christmas Series from award-winning ceramicist, Frances Lee.
TheChristmasSeries features a mixture of white earthenware slip and solid clay finished with a transparent glaze and hand drawn, fine pen and water colour images, made into transfers.
Inspiration for The Christmas Series comes from plants, berries and colours of Christmas .
This decorative piece is one of a kind.
