Full description
This one of a kind steampunk pendant necklace combines original hand painting with genuine watch components to create a piece of jewellery with plenty to discover up close.
I hand painted the abstract background in rich golden yellow and warm amber tones, then embedded real steampunk cogs and watch parts into the design. A clear resin topcoat gives the pendant its glossy finish while protecting the tiny mechanical details beneath.
The mix of exposed gears, clockwork pieces and the hand painted background gives it a distinctly steampunk and industrial jewellery feel without looking mass produced. The round silver-tone bezel also provides a cooler contrast against the warm golden colours.
