This piece depicts two goldfinches among colourful tulips and poppies in a vase, against a dark background, inspired by one of my all time favourite birds. They symbolise joy, optimism and freedom and look spectacular with their beautiful colours. This intricately painted original piece has been created as an homage to these stunning little creatures and is displayed within a 17 x 17 cm aperture mount that has a double edge detail, held within a 10" x 10", 2 cm deep plain white frame. This frame is also very lightweight as it has acrylic glass to protect the original painting.
This original watercolour and gouache bird art painting is ideal for nature lovers and bird enthusiasts and measures 10" x 10" overall.
