Full of colour, texture and quirky little details, this freestanding fabric bird ornament is designed to bring personality to a shelf, mantelpiece, bookcase or dresser.
The bird is made from rich red patterned fabric and has a contrasting purple and cream fabric wing, finished with eye-catching orange hand stitching around the edge. A tiny button eye, patterned pink beak and wonderfully bright striped fabric feet give this little bird its own distinctive character.
Because it stands independently, it works particularly well as a shelf bird ornament or small piece of textile art amongst books, plants and treasured collections. The combination of hand stitching, mixed fabrics and playful shapes also gives it a colourful folk-art feel.
