If you love something a little different, this unique handmade denim crossbody bag could be just the piece for you.
Lovingly made from an upcycled pair of distressed jeans, the front flap features a striking machine-embroidered steampunk skull and gears in gold, black and white. A genuine jeans pocket on the front is decorated with a stitched red rose patch, which complements the steampunk design beautifully.
There is also a pocket inside the bag, providing a useful place for keeping smaller items.
The bag is lined with a pretty 100% cotton ditsy floral fabric, giving a lovely contrast to the denim and adding a softer touch to the steampunk-inspired exterior.
The plain black adjustable strap makes it easy to wear across the body, and the bag is finished with a combination of gold and silver hardware.
Approximate measurements:
9 inches wide by 10 inches high, excluding the strap.
Each bag I make is individually handcrafted, and using upcycled denim means that every piece has its own character. Rather than perfectly uniform new fabric, the denim carries the story of its previous life, making each bag genuinely unique.
