I have always worked with textiles and started hand smocking for my family over 40years ago. I am motivated to keep the hand stitching of traditional smocking alive in this fast paced mass production age. These dresses are so comfortable to wear and little girls love swirling and dancing in them. I enjoy selecting more modern designs in quality fabrics and only create small numbers in each making them very special.

Full description
For that special little girl or occasion, a lovingly hand embroidered smocked dress, made in cotton poplin. Traditional christmas colours of red/ deep burgundy with sparkly gold stripy patterning.
Capped shoulders to enable a warmer layer to be comfortably worn underneath in winter months.

chest 54cm .....allows for natural stretch of hand smocking.

Wash with care 30 degrees
Iron using moderate heat.
