This unique handmade shoulder bag has been lovingly created from a pre-loved pair of jeans, giving them a new lease of life as a stylish and practical everyday bag.
The bag is fully lined with a quirky retro London-inspired cotton print, adding a fun and colourful contrast to the denim.
At the front is a useful external pocket, secured with a strong metal press-stud fastening. It's ideal for keeping smaller essentials close at hand, such as your mobile phone, pen, lipstick, tissues or other little bits and pieces you like to have within easy reach.
The main compartment is surprisingly spacious, providing plenty of room for your everyday essentials. A strong metal zip runs across the top of the bag to keep your belongings secure.
I have retained some of the original character of the jeans by stitching the original leather jeans label onto the front of the bag. The shoulder strap has been made from part of the original denim waistband and still features its original label, adding to the unique upcycled character of the bag.
The jeans have been carefully washed, pressed and cut before being reworked and handmade into this one-of-a-kind bag.
I love taking something that might otherwise have been discarded and transforming it into something useful and beautiful. Every upcycled denim bag is individual, with its own combination of denim shades, markings and original features.
