William Morris Bullerswood Christmas Stockings.
Traditional Stockings made from the finest Original Morris & Co furnishing fabrics and lined in 100% silk.
This linen-blend upholstery fabric was inspired by a carpet hand-woven at Merton Abbey and exhibited by Morris & Co. at the 1893 Arts and Crafts Society exhibition. The original design probably came from the enormous Persian original hung by Morris in his dining room at Kelmscott House
We have lined these with 100% silk dupion for a truly luxurious feel.
Stitched with thicker weight threads to keep them secure when stuffing full of gifts.
Each stocking is approx 24 cm wide at the neck and 48 cm long (not including 11cm the hanger). The boot is 31 cm wide.
