Full description
Hand made from 3mm 8oz veg tan leather and green Russet leather wings, this Wyvern is all snappy. The jaw mechanism is my own design and I decided to go with a wood option over leather. Wood being Maple. The spring is one from an old pen kit, improvise, adapt and overcome.
The longer neck allows the head to be easily detachable if there's any issues with the nylon line between jaw and trigger ring. After hours of testing, I'm confident that this system is the best I can get.
Claudia the Snap Dragon is dyed in Angelus Jade, a lovely colour that darkens on burnishing, giving Claudia a two time look.
Wings are a good 28" and suit her length. She fits nicely on the arm and is so much fun. Looking good in situe or suspended, her five fingered wings are heavily tooled, with three fingers on the top wing and two on the below wing. Four winged wyvern. Both wings are movable on swivels, as well as the legs.
The finger straps are fully adjustable for left or right handed and for the smaller or larger hands too. Or they can be removed completely. Chicago screws are used.

All leather work is soaked in saddle soap or minks foot oil to protect from moisture.
