Full description
A3 (29.7cm x 42 cm) 2-colour linocut / screen-print entitled 'Runswick Bay'.
This is a view of the sea front in the small village of Runswick Bay, which is in North Yorkshire, on the coast between Whitby and Staithes. As you might know, I'm a huge fan of the British seaside, especially the Yorkshire coast, and I visited this beautiful village recently. I love the jumble of houses, rooftops, windows, chimneys and green spaces there and felt like I had to add the place to my landscape collection!
Warm grey and light teal System 3 inks on off-white 270gsm acid-free Bread & Butter paper. From an edition of 50, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
The print image measures H25xW18cm.
The paper measures H42xW29.7cm.
Printed by myself in Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
