A miniature museum of treasures from the North East coast.
Coastal Curiosity House 003 is the largest piece in the Hale Yeah Studio collection so far, bringing together a carefully curated assortment of genuine coastal finds gathered from beaches along the North East coast.
Each treasure has been individually selected and arranged inside a large dark wooden house-shaped display, creating a miniature cabinet of curiosities inspired by beachcombing, coastal archaeology and the strange little objects discovered beside the sea.
Across its many compartments you will find sea glass, pottery and ceramic fragments, shells, stones, driftwood and other naturally weathered coastal finds.
Three miniature features make this piece especially distinctive: a tiny wooden boat containing coastal treasures, a basket filled with tiny shells and finds, and Specimen Drawer 001, a handmade archival-style drawer containing four individually arranged specimens.
