Full description
Half a century deserves a card with a bit of character. This 50th birthday card features a bold patterned 50, created from lots of different hand-drawn black and white doodles including flowers, basket-weave effects, geometric shapes and line patterns.
The numbers are framed by flowing black curls, bright red hearts and touches of turquoise foliage, giving the monochrome artwork small bursts of colour without taking away from the intricate detail.
Looking for an unusual 50th birthday card for a mum, friend, sister or another brilliant person turning fifty? This design is a lovely alternative to traditional age cards, especially for someone who enjoys quirky illustration or detailed patterned artwork.
It features a print of my own original doodle design and makes the milestone itself the star of the card.
Designed and handmade in Bristol.
In an effort to be more environmentally friendly I no longer send out cards in cellophane wrappers.
