When I saw the brambles in early autumn colours growing over the fence from the allotments into my garden, I decided to cut a piece, take if indoors and draw it. I used top quality colour pencils from the Caran d'Ache Pablo range and Faber Castell Polychromos. Many professional artists consider these to be the Rolls Royce of colour pencils. Working on white paper, I spent many days of painstaking work layering the colours and paying attention to detail in order to get a deep richness and a sense of reality in my picture. I hope I have achieved this. Size: This is an A4 picture draw on an A3 sheet of paper.
