Full description
One of my favourite things to do in pottery is press various items, stamps, rollers etc into rolled out slabs of clay to create random textures and patterns then turning them into dishes and vessels. For this hand built pot I used a length of lace for the pattern at the top and an embroidered doily for the peacock. After bisque firing I gave it a turquoise wash all over then wiped it back from the surface to highlight the texture before glazing the inside and firing it again to 1240C.
Keep turning it around so you have a different vase every day!
