Full description
Add a cosy finishing touch to your home while helping to keep unwanted draughts at bay with this handmade fabric draught excluder. Fab deep red wool fabric, washable by hand as you can easily remove the filling.
Made by me, this draught excluder has been designed to be both practical and attractive, with a softly padded finish that sits neatly against the bottom of a door.
Unlike many draught excluders, the filling is contained in a separate removable inner, allowing the decorative outer cover to be taken off and washed when needed.
Inside, a securely sewn calico tube filled with sand runs along the base, giving the draught excluder enough weight to help it stay in position. The remainder is generously filled with soft hollow fibre, also encased in calico so creating the lovely plump shape without making the whole draught excluder unnecessarily heavy.
A discreet zip is incorporated into the seam, making it easy to remove and replace the complete inner filling.
