This charming Tawny Owl is wearing a Bowler hat and has a brass roundhandled walking cane tucked under his wing.
He is sitting on a wall that overlooks old tenament style buildings with a antique street light and a deep yellow sky.
A unique piece of Art for your home or a thoughtful gift for that special person.
Handpainted using daler rowney acrylic paints onto a square deep box edge canvass. Measuring 6inches square and 1inch deep, I used a black marker pen for the windows on the buildings.
I had old Edinburgh in my mind while painting this, people that come from the outskirts like me, call it the Toon, it isn't accurate just a representation but think it gives atmosphere to the piece.
I use Royal Mail 2nd class service for this item which is included in the price, I will email when I post it out.
Your Painting will arrive in a large letter size cardboard box, and will be wrapped in tissue and shredded raffia paper, there will be an outer layer of packing plastic and fragile stickers applied.
I don't varnish or add hanging hooks to the back of my canvasses, finding that people like to choose their own hanging methods and that varnish can yellow over time. However I can do either or both if requested just drop me a message.
To care for your painting keep out of direct prolonged sunlight as this may bleach colours over time, to dust use a dry cloth.
