It's hard to believe these earrings are made from polymer clay.
These lightweight earrings are made using a technique called mokume gane, it's a fun technique of placing different colour clay upon each other, making impressions and then thinly slicing the top to create veneers. While this is fun it is a timely process.
The earrings comprise of a square with circle cut out and a tapered oval which have been fitted together, leaving them to swing beautifully.
Once the earrings are cured they are sanded with fine to extra fine wet and dry sandpaper and finally buffed to leave it them with a beautiful sheen.
The back of the earrings have contrasting clay.
They are finished with black stainless steel hardware.
As these are handmade there may be some slight imperfections, this adds to their uniqueness and does not deter from the quality.
These earrings will be placed in a cardboard box designed to fit in your letterbox. They will be posted 2nd class tracked delivery via royal mail.
