About this item
The latest in my British Transport Dystopia series - this one shows a Blue Mayan Coral Snake wrapped around a London Overground train and a bridge that is pretty much at the bottom of my street. The Met sends their finest constable on his bike and it should all be sorted out in no time... Luckily in real life there aren't any Blue Malaya Coral Snakes in Bromley. Or at least I don't think their are, at least in the Crystal Palace end anyway. Bit troublesome this one, I don't think I got the angle of the train right... this was the second attempt which is one more than I usually do. Specifications: - Printed with the Ultrachrome HDR archival ink system of the Epson 7890 LFP on Hahnemuehle Giclee German Etching Paper (Matt FineArt – textured paper, 310 gsm, 100% a-Cellulose, white, mould-made) - Print ships rolled in a cardboard tube - Frame is not included (just for illustration purposes) All UK orders are sent by Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class, and tracking information will be supplied with shipping confirmation. All international orders are sent by Royal Mail Tracked and Signed, and tracking information will be supplied with shipping confirmation.

One of my new years resolutions this year is to read no dystopian fiction this year as the world is dystopian enough. So far I have managed it, but it appears I’m drawing them instead… I’m not sure that’s entirely what I had in mind! When I showed this to my five year old, she said ‘Oh no daddy he’s digging up the train, stop him!’, but alas I couldn’t as this is a drawing, sorry Ida. I’ve been working on this one for a while. During the making of it I picked up Covid-19, which took quite a while to properly shake off, but that might have been due to another bad thing happening which I won’t go into yet. Either way these two things may have either hindered or helped the final outcome (depending on your opinion of the drawing), but if you think this is the product of a deranged mind you probably haven’t seen anything yet…
