Watching from the Hedgerow
I imagined a fox watching from the long grass at the base of the hedgerow. Still as a whisper not wanting to give away his hiding place but ready to run.
This painting was created first by mono printing leaves and grass on to a wooden panel. I then painted the fox in acrylic hiding behind the grass. The thin paint on the mono print background helped me create layers of gentle colour with the veins of some leaves captured during printing
