Full description
Handmade ceramic bird feeder, inspired by life in Devon. This piece was wheel thrown and then hand finished to add the three shell perches. The centre dish can be used for large fat balls, homemade fat mixes or water and the outer dish is perfect for seeds. The feeder has an ombre glaze style finish with a matt green base and a mixture of blue and pale green hues, with a pearly white floating throughout and over the shell perches. The natural twine is hand knotted to create the hanging element and giving smaller birds an extra place to perch. The glaze and twine combination gives a rural coastal finish. It reminds me of beach days at Dawlish Warren.
Hang this piece from a branch or balcony to add a little rustic charm to your outdoor space. A unique piece making it the perfect gift for garden, nature and/or bird enthusiasts.
The piece measures approximately 15.5cm diameter and 25cm when including the furthest edges of the shells. Its approximately 4cm in height.
The piece is food safe so can be washed when needed and is safe to hold water for you feathered friends.
The dish will be protective wrapped and then tissue paper wrapped before being boxed. Perfect for a gift! I will post within 3 days of payment received.
