About this item
I first made these rainbows in the pandemic for my team when working as a nurse manager. They were to signify hope and new beginnings at a time when we were finding life tough, both at work and in our personal lives. I have rainbows on several window sills in my house including in my studio, as I love the way the light filters through them. I also use the image of a rainbow and its relection as my logo as it means so much to me. Each rainbow comprises of hand cut glass, in two layers. They require 2 visits to the kiln to fuse the glass together and then shape it into a curve. Each rainbow measures approx 15cm (L) x 7cm (W) x 5cm (H). Rainbows will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48 service.
